Once we receive the referral, our team will contact you to discuss the case, arrange the appointment, and coordinate the next steps.
What cases can I refer?
We have specialists in all fields of small animal surgery, including orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, neurosurgery, and oncologic surgery. Additionally, we provide emergency and critical care and internal medicine services.
Together, we will be able to assist with any referral!
How do I refer?
We understand your busy schedule, so we’ve made it easy for you to submit your referral. You can reach us by phone at (023 88 33252), email to reception@faxbridgevets.ie, or fill in our referral form.
To facilitate the process, we kindly request a copy of your clinical notes, any test results, and imaging (DICOM or JPG) by email to reception@faxbridgevets.ie
If your case is urgent or requires immediate attention, we recommend contacting us by phone. If one of our advanced care practitioners is available, they will speak to you directly or make an effort to call you back before the end of the day.
Once we receive your referral, we will schedule an appointment for your client at their convenience. For non-urgent cases, we can usually offer appointments within 1-3 working days, while urgent cases can be scheduled the same or next day.
What follow-up can I expect?
We strive to contact you by phone or email on the day of your consultation to provide you with the treatment plan and again on the day of discharge or whenever new information becomes available. If you have a preference for the method of contact, please inform our reception.
We understand that emergencies may arise, and we want to ensure that you are kept informed as much as possible.
For inpatients, we aim to send a comprehensive written report to your practice via email or one of our practitioners will call you directly within 24 hours of discharge.
For outpatients with pending test results, the report will be forwarded once the test results are compiled and a treatment plan is in place.
We are constantly striving to enhance our communication with you. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we would greatly appreciate hearing them. Please send them to reception@faxbridgevets.ie
