Frequently Asked Questions
Our highly trained veterinary surgeons specialise in both elective and emergency procedures, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and compassionate care.
What services do you offer?
A general list of services is provided on our website, but it is not comprehensive. If you have questions about specific options for your pet, please don’t hesitate to contact our client care team at +353 23 8833252
What should I expect at the initial appointment?
Upon arrival, our client care team will check in your pet and have you complete a “drop-off form,” which can be pre-filled through our Pets App to save time. Usually, your pet will need to be fasted before their procedure; please confirm with our team if you have any questions. You will be provided with an estimated cost if it has not already been discussed. Most pets are discharged the same day, and a discharge time will be provided at drop-off or communicated later by phone. A vet or nurse will update you when your pet has recovered, and upon discharge, detailed post-operative care instructions will be provided.
What if my pet is already under the care of another vet?
Our vets will ensure clear communication and discharge instructions are sent to your current veterinarian. Please provide your pet’s records if possible.
What should I expect during my pet’s perioperative care?
Your pet will receive individualised care tailored to their specific needs, from medication to customised physiotherapy programs. Post-operative instructions, including diet, exercise, medication, and follow-up appointments, will be clearly communicated by our vets or nurses.
What treatment options are available, from conservative to surgical management?
We offer multiple treatment plans. Your vet will discuss these options with you, allowing you to make an informed decision that best suits your pet’s individual needs.
Are there additional adjunctive treatments available?
Yes, we offer customised treatment plans that may include multimodal analgesia, dry physiotherapy, laser therapy, joint supplements, joint injections, or referral for hydrotherapy.
How much will the procedure or treatment cost?
You will receive a detailed estimate for all treatments or procedures recommended for your pet.
