We’ve been here twice while visiting Ireland. Last year our dog was having some stomach issues and the vet popped out for a minute and for no charge recommended to try some special cans of wet food for a few days and see how it goes well. Saved us an appointment fee. This year we popped in for some of Ruby’s regular dry food which they stock. Both times we were impressed with the selection of dry and wet food.

We were on holidays in Courtmacsherry for z week with our precious dog Max (he's a beagle) Unfortunately he started limping so we wanted to brig him to a vet clinic. We found one in Clonakilty, its called FAXBRIDGE VETINERY.
We were just a 'walk in' as we didn't have an appointment, however when we arrived we were greeted with a lovely smile and a great welcome and advised that we would be seen to very shortly. In arrival I was most impressed with the beautiful clinic, no smell like you get in most vet clinics. Max was seen to very quickly by a lively young vet named Lorna White. Lorcna checked Max thoroughly and sorted him out,
Thank God. I would recommend Faxbridge to any animal owner. Thank you all for your kindness and keep up the good work. I hope you are being looked after by the pet owners in your area🐕🐈‍⬛🐈🦮

We have been with Faxbridge Vets for 14 years and would not consider going anywhere else.

Recently, we said goodbye to our beloved 14-year-old dog, Kruzi, our Newfoundland-Collie cross. Throughout the final years of his life, the team supported both him and us with exceptional kindness, compassion and care. Kruzi was a big boy, and the vets would happily climb into the back of our jeep to administer his Librela injections, always treating him with patience, warmth and affection. These thoughtful gestures meant the world to us.

Kruzi also underwent TPLO surgery at Faxbridge. The practice’s surgical facilities are excellent, and there was great reassurance in knowing that the procedure was carried out by the same vets who knew him so well and genuinely cared about his wellbeing.

The nurses and administrative team also deserve special recognition. From our very first visit, they have been welcoming, professional and genuinely caring, making every interaction a positive and compassionate experience.

When the time came to say goodbye to Kruzi, the team handled an incredibly difficult moment with professionalism, calm and dignity, for which we will always be grateful.

Faxbridge is a family-run practice where the team is truly invested in both the animals they care for and the people who love them. Their clinical expertise is matched by a personal touch that is increasingly rare to find.

We cannot recommend the Faxbridge team highly enough. They are simply outstanding.

The absolute best veterinary practice around. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Olivia was so incredibly kind & she went above and beyond to look after our cat.
